The Virgin of Aránzazu is worshipped in the Basque country and is patron saint of the province of Guipúzcoa. The Sanctuary is a Franciscan sanctuary located in Oñati, Basque Country, Spain, on the site where presumably the Virgin of Aránzazu appeared to the shepherd Rodrigo de Balanzategui in 1468
