Upper right part of 4 sheet map of North America (sheet no. 22). This part includes southern North America. Includes seven scales of German, English, French, and Spanish miles, of English and French marine leagues, of Spanish leagues and of "Standen Wegs" in cartouche at lower right. Includes descriptive and historical notes throughout map. Shows boundaries, forts, roads, mines, and Indian villages and tribal territory.

This map is a German-language edition of the 4-sheet map of North America first brought out by Emmanuel Bowen and John Gibson in London about 1775; Franz Anton Schraembl has apparently based it on one of the states of 1777 or later. Sheets are numbered 20-23. Relief shown pictorially.
